My Girls

I decided that I would dedicate my post to by bffs today.
First, I'll start with the girls in this photo, which was taken when we took a road trip all the way to Fryeburg to support our wrestlers at states! All the way on the left, that's Ingrid: my Norwegian beauty. Although she's leaving in 29 days, I know we'll still stay in contact. She's one of the funniest people I've ever met, and I definitely will never forget her! Next, that's me. Moving on, beside me is Kaylie. She's my other half. We do everything together. Sure, we butt heads and don't get along once in a while, but we're over it within hours. I don't know where I'd be without her. Furthest to the right, that's Caity. We were best friends growing up, and slowly drifted apart. Senior year has done wonders for us. It's brought us back together, and we're even roommates at UMO next year (:

Oh, this was one hell of a girls night! On the left is my home girl, Kelleigh. If I'm ever in need of a goodlaugh, I go to her. She's, no doubt, one of the most honest people I know. You don't even have to ask for the truth and she'll tell you what's up. And besides, she literally always has the best snacks! In the middle, is my lovely sophomore, Alexx. Although I've only been close with her, she's there through thick and thin: no questions asked. She's a fashionista and has the best style in the world. She's such a sweetheart, and I'm really going to miss her next year!

Lipdub 2012: so much fun! On the left is Morgan, another one of my favorite sophomores. Morgan has one of the best voices I've ever heard. If I ever need a pick me up, I know she can sing me a short tune and it'll completely change my mood. She's full of laughs and jokes, especially when it comes to sports, considering she doesn't really understand them. She's adorable. In the front, that's my girl, Shelby. We've been friends ever since I can remember, playing basketball in the Orland gym together. She's one of the funniest people I know, and can always make me laugh. Even though I don't understand why, she's in love with Elvis and always has been. I'm so sad she's leaving me next year ):

After a pep rally during football season! Leah, the one in the front and all the way to the left, is my love. She's so precious. We play "Draw Something" together everyday during lunch and have some of the best girl talks in the world. She's a real friend. I know she'll always be there for me, no matter how long it has been since we talked. She'd be there for me in a heartbeat, and I love that about her. Emily, the one right behind Leah, has been one of my best friends since Kindergarten. We have so many unfogettable memories: the week at Old Orchard Beach, girls nights at her mom's house, dinner at Kaylie's when she broke the chair, cheering, our crazy birthday parties, and the list goes on. I hate that we've grown apart, but I know that we'll get closer in college. Beside Emily is Rachele! We've had some crazy experiences together and I wouldn't trade them for anything. She's very blonde sometimes, but so am I, so it works out. Rachele and I have so much in common that we might as well be the same person. I love her and can't wait to spend next year with her! In the middle is Carrie. We were best friends when we were younger too. Although we grew apart, we have definitely grown back together. We work together at the pool, and we're the only two girls. She keeps me sane and grounded with all of the bullshit that we have to deal with. I couldn't do it alone, and I'm so thankful she's there for me.

As an end note, I love each and every single one of them: I wouldn't trade them for the world <3
Here's a few photos of all of us:

  1. I feel like I know so much more about you after reading this blog. You can definitely tell how important your friends are to you just by the length of it and the amount of pictures. Cute.

  2. As excited as I am to go to college next year, I really am going to miss the friends I made here. I understand what you mean when you say you're going to miss your underclassmen friends, because I've made a few too. It sucks that we all split up, but we'll see each other again at reunions and such.

  3. Taylor: thank you! Afterall, this is kind of what our blogs are supposed to be about: learning different things about each other.
Seth: me too. I can't wait for those! It'll definitely be exciting to see where people have gone since leaving here.
